Bardock was a great warrior of the Saiyan army that was destroyed by Freeza. Bardock is Goku's father. His son (Goku) was sent to Earth to take it over for the Saiyan army. Bardock is also said to be a scientist in the American DBZ. He also led the Saiyans in an all-out battle with Freeza and his army and fought until the end. Although Goku doesn't remember anything about his father, Bardock still caused a large influence on Goku.
